about
Music is all about having fun, right? It’s the reason why Elevate bring you releases, and it’s the motivation behind many artists on stage. Subsonic is one of them. If you’re familiar with his sound then you’ll know his music is all about having fun and creating something people can dance to. From his link up with the immense vocal talent of Ruth Royall on “Hold On”, to the awesome jump up/dancefloor hybrid of “Need Me”. It doesn’t matter what the track is, as soon as Subsonic touches it you know it will make you want to move!
Despite being around for a few years now, we are still only scratching the surface of what this young UK producer is capable of. Subsonic’s latest creation on Elevate “Last Time” is another nod to an unpredictable talent who is enjoying experimenting with his music. From the tight dancefloor groove to the wicked switch on the second chorus, Subsonic continues to excite with every release. With a gleaming history in bassline, and a bright future in D&B to come, there’s a lot to look forward to from Subsonic as he continues to blossom.
Another class piece from Break. The original was good when it hit. The Bad Company remix was next level and this one to me is a close race for best remix of this classic. This one to me has the most gnarly drop of all. Like his formula is to sneak up on you with the drop and he accomplishes that mission over and over and over again. I've been collecting Break & Silent Witness tracks when I started buying records over 20 years ago.

This is in my opinion by far the most superior of all your work. I can hear a lot of influence from Pendulum in here. I’d almost go so far to say this album is a spiritual successor to their album Emersion. I do hope more collaborations with ShockOne will happen some day. reckneya
